We were two families evacuating from Louisiana and Gustav. After staying in a Best Western that was much higher in cost and lower in service, this was a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a commercial area off the interstate in a suburban setting. The hotel itself is old and needs new carpet in the rooms. However, the room was clean and did not smell musty. Hotel layout wasn't the best, you had to walk a mile to get to your room from the lobby. Breakfast wasn't great either. People working there were nice and helpful. Cost was very inexpensive for the room. ...read more

Family with Young Children
The front desk clerk was very nice and helpful, the free breakfast was good since we had small children with us to get ready for the aquarium trip, this saved a great amount of traveling time as far as finding a place to eat.
